Beneath the Surface

When I look at another living creature, I want to do more than merely observe their superficial appearances.

I wish to look deeper; to try and understand their actions, their feelings, their spirit.

It’s important for me to appreciate them more deeply as individuals, not just as organisms acting blindly within the greater cycles of the world.

Where many may see triviality, I seek to observe the beauty and intricacy that’s there beneath the surface.
