About Me

Hey! I’m Brody Gamble and I’m a Central Australian-based photographer with a passion for the natural world, wildlife, travel and the stars!

Welcome to my site!

I was lucky to be born & raised in Alice Springs, Central Australia; the place I still call home. I spent my youth exploring the unique natural wonders of the desert with my father and many nights watching Steve Irwin and David Attenborough teach the importance of appreciating and protecting our natural world. I’ve always felt connected to nature and its inhabitants, and although I only discovered photography as a passion in my late twenties, I have a deep-rooted desire to use my work as a conduit for raising awareness for the conservation and care of our planet.

I like to think of my photographic style as ‘vibrant’ & ‘animated’, using the colours of the world to evoke a sense of wonder & capture my own feelings from that moment in time. My style has been influenced by the mystical themes and films of Hayao Miyazaki (Studio Ghibli) and The Lord of the Rings trilogy (my nerdy indulgence).

Ultimately I want my photos to make people feel like getting outdoors, to connect with their surroundings, to care for them.

After all: “Nature is not a place to visit. It is home.” - Gary Snyder
